Korea Airports Corporation Hosts 2021 'Seoul High School Students Startup Competition'
[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Korea Airports Corporation announced on the 7th that it will jointly host the "2021 Korea Airports Corporation Seoul High School Student Startup Competition" with the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education.
The corporation organized this startup competition to provide high school students with opportunities for creative and autonomous career development and experience. Any student attending a high school located in Seoul can participate.
There are no restrictions on the startup field, and through the first document screening and the second presentation evaluation, the will to start a business, creativity, technicality, and business feasibility will be assessed. Bonus points will be given for social venture startup ideas aimed at solving environmental issues, social phenomena, and regional problems.
Through the two-stage evaluation, the corporation will select a total of 14 teams, including one grand prize winner, one excellence award winner, three outstanding teams, and four encouragement teams. The grand prize winner will receive a startup support fund of 3 million KRW and an opportunity to move into the corporation's startup incubation center. Additionally, educational programs covering the entire startup process, from business plan development to corporate establishment, will be provided to support actual startup implementation.
Applications for the startup competition can be submitted via email until the 24th, and detailed schedules and application methods can be found on the Korea Airports Corporation website.
