GS Construction Supports Athletes in Less Popular Sports... Signs MOU with Seoul Sports Council
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyemin] GS Engineering & Construction supports athletes in less popular sports who face difficulties in training due to COVID-19.
GS Engineering & Construction announced on the 7th that it signed a "Business Cooperation Agreement for the Activation of Sports and Improvement of Sports Welfare in Seoul" with the Seoul Sports Council. The signing ceremony was attended by Kim Sehan, General Affairs Manager of GS Engineering & Construction, and Lim Hongjun, Secretary General of the Seoul Sports Council, among others.
This project is the second initiative of GS Engineering & Construction's cultural, arts, and sports support social contribution activity "Sharing and Togetherness 2021" being promoted this year. GS Engineering & Construction will provide sports equipment and financial support to student athletic teams and adult corporate teams in need.
The first beneficiaries are a total of 35 people, including the Gyeongbok High School track and field team, Gyeongshin High School judo team, and coaches and athletes of the Jongno District Office weightlifting team. GS Engineering & Construction will support them with sports equipment, equipment purchase costs, and expenses for regional training camps that replaced metropolitan area training due to COVID-19 social distancing measures.
