KB Kookmin Bank Limits Credit Line to 50 Million Won Starting from the 7th
[Asia Economy Reporter Junhyung Lee] KB Kookmin Bank is lowering the overdraft account limit to 50 million KRW. Among the four major commercial banks, overdraft accounts exceeding 100 million KRW will no longer be available.
According to the financial sector on the 6th, KB Kookmin Bank will reduce the maximum limit of credit line loans (overdraft accounts) to 50 million KRW starting from the 7th.
Earlier, on the 27th of last month, KB Kookmin Bank submitted a plan to the Financial Supervisory Service to limit individual credit loan limits to annual income levels within this month and to lower the overdraft account limit to a maximum of 50 million KRW.

Woori Bank and Shinhan Bank already lowered their overdraft account limits to 50 million KRW earlier this year. Hana Bank reduced the overdraft account loan limit to a maximum of 50 million KRW starting from the 27th of last month.
