Universities Unite... Dong-Eui Institute of Technology and Pukyong National University Sign Cooperation Agreement for Shared Collaboration

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Dong-Eui Institute of Technology and Pukyong National University signed a business agreement on the 2nd to share cooperation for nurturing future talents and creating innovative value in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution.
The agreement was prepared to seek university development and strengthen educational competitiveness through revitalizing exchanges and cooperation between regional universities amid internal and external crises such as digital transformation in education due to the 4th Industrial Revolution and the decline in school-age population.
The two universities agreed to promote various cooperation in all educational fields, including student exchanges.
The main agreement items include ▲ academic and credit exchange for efficient operation of shared universities ▲ operation of educational programs through exchanges of professors and students ▲ development and operation of joint curricula for human resource development between the two universities ▲ and cooperation for projects related to shared universities.
President Kim Young-do said at the signing ceremony, “It is a trend of the times for universities to break down barriers and collaborate to create synergy and achieve win-win development,” adding, “We expect to elevate the status of higher education one step further and produce outstanding results through cooperation between regional universities.”
A shared university is a shared platform that exchanges credits and shares educational resources centered on the specialized fields each university possesses.
It aims to promote innovation and national balanced development through win-win cooperation among regional universities.

At the signing ceremony held at Pukyong National University Daeyeon Campus, Dong-Eui Institute of Technology President Kim Young-do, Dean of Academic Affairs Kim Dae-kyung, and Director of Planning Kim Kyung-hwa attended, along with about 10 officials from both universities including Pukyong National University President Jang Young-soo, Vice President for Academic Affairs Chae Young-hee, and Dean of Academic Affairs Lee Min-hee.
