View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Standards Association (President Kang Myung-soo) announced on the 6th that it has signed a business agreement with eCredible (CEO Lee Jin-ok) to promote the spread of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management.
The two organizations agreed to cooperate in ▲smooth promotion of ESG-related projects between each other ▲sharing and utilizing necessary information for carrying out projects in ESG-related fields ▲discovering and expanding sustainable projects to support ESG management for small and medium-sized enterprises.
The Korea Standards Association has been striving for the development of Korea's ESG ecosystem, with President Kang Myung-soo recently appointed as the private senior member of the official task force 'G7 ITF,' which promotes global standardization of ESG-related evaluations. eCredible, a credit rating agency whose main business includes corporate credit evaluation, is currently working to expand ESG management to medium and small enterprises, focusing on partners of large corporations such as POSCO Construction's partner ESG evaluations.
