Kim Joo-hyung made eight birdies. Starting at the 10th hole (par 4), he opened the scoring with a birdie at the 13th hole (par 5), followed by consecutive birdies at the 16th and 17th holes, and then a three-birdie streak from the 1st to 3rd holes on the back nine. He also showed strong finishing power with 'stepping stone birdies' at the 7th and 9th holes. His long drive reached up to 303.3 yards with a fairway hit rate of 92.86%, and most notably, his green in regulation rate was 83.33%, showcasing his 'piercing iron shots.' Following his win at the SK Telecom Open in June, he is poised to claim his second victory of the season in three months.

Justin Shin combined one eagle and seven birdies. The highlight was the eagle at the 17th hole (par 5). This score surpassed his personal best of 6 under par in the second round of the KB Financial Live Championship in May. Defending champion Lee Won-jun (Australia) remained tied for 34th place (3 under par, 69 strokes). The professional golf challenge of former pitcher Yoon Seok-min (35) is proving to be a tough path as expected.
