View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Lotte Distribution Business Headquarters announced on the 2nd that it will introduce and provide eco-friendly electric vehicles to field managers nationwide to practice ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management.
The vehicles to be provided this time are Kia's electric car model, the ‘Niro EV,’ with 51 units scheduled to be delivered sequentially between September 2021 and January 2022. Through the introduction of these electric vehicles, it is expected to contribute to environmental protection by eliminating the source of greenhouse gas emissions generated during work.
Kim Yong-gi, CEO of Lotte Distribution Business Headquarters, said, “We will promote the adoption of electric vehicles so that all employees can make ESG management a part of their daily lives and continuously practice it,” adding, “We will continue to fulfill our social responsibilities such as environmental protection through various activities and strengthen ESG management.”
