'Hidden Stories of Independence Heroes' Third Video Released
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi]KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 2nd that it has released a video titled “The White-Haired Independence Fighter, Walwoo Kang Woo-kyu” to commemorate the anniversary of Walwoo Kang Woo-kyu’s heroic act.
This video is the third story in the “Hidden Stories of Independence Heroes” series, which is part of KB Kookmin Bank’s “Daehan Has Lived” campaign. The production involved Seokyung Deok, a Korean public relations expert and professor at Sungshin Women’s University who serves as the campaign ambassador, and the narration was provided by actress Lee Jung-hyun.
The video depicts the achievements and life story of the white-haired elder Walwoo Kang Woo-kyu, who spread the spirit of independence to the world through his courageous resistance during the Japanese colonial era, and reexamines his patriotic spirit that awakened the national consciousness. The video is available with Korean and English subtitles on KB Kookmin Bank’s YouTube channel.
