KB Kookmin Bank Provides Medical and Communication Fee Support to Afghan Special Contributors
Digital Learning Support Planned for Children of Special Contributors
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 1st that it will provide support such as medical and communication expenses to help Afghan special contributors and their families adapt stably in Korea.
KB Kookmin Bank, in cooperation with the Korean Red Cross, plans to support medical expenses to help Afghan special contributors who started temporary living at the Chungbuk Jincheon National Civil Service Human Resources Development Institute maintain a stable life after leaving the facility. To facilitate smooth communication and domestic adaptation for the Afghan special contributors, KB Kookmin Bank will also provide Liiv M mobile SIM cards and communication fee support through its mobile communication service, Liiv Mobile.
Additionally, various additional supports are planned for applicants among the Afghan special contributors. After leaving the Human Resources Development Institute, adults will be offered the "KB Kookmin Bank Global Family Early Settlement Program" conducted in cooperation with the Korean Red Cross. For about 230 minors who entered the country with their parents, a program called "Mentor KB for Youth! Digital Learning Support" will be provided, which includes basic Korean language and math lectures installed on tablet PCs for education.
