SPC Group Delivers Relief Supplies to Families of Afghan Special Contributors
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] SPC Group announced on the 1st that it provided relief supplies to the families of Afghan special contributors living at the National Human Resources Development Institute in Jincheon, Chungbuk.
SPC Group delivered 20,000 tea bags of black tea and green tea from ‘Tetra,’ the tea brand of its affiliate Paris Croissant, through the Korean Red Cross. It is known that this was specially requested because Afghanistan has a tea-drinking culture.
An SPC Group official said, “We provided customized support for urgently requested items in consultation with the Korean Red Cross,” adding, “SPC Group will continue to actively support places in need of help.”

Previously, SPC Group supported socially marginalized groups and quarantine medical staff in local communities, including COVID-19 response sites in Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions, the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency 1339 call center, Korean residents in Wuhan, China and Italy, regional children’s centers nationwide, and children at risk of food insecurity in Daegu and Gyeongbuk, by providing bread, bottled water, and quarantine supplies.
