On the 1st, the Ulsan District Court announced that it sentenced Mr. A, a man in his 30s who was prosecuted for secretly activating smartphones under customers' names by forging private documents, to a fine of 5 million won.
Mr. A, a mobile phone seller, was charged in July 2017 with activating three smartphones worth a total of 3 million won without customers' consent. It was revealed that Mr. A committed the crime using identification cards left behind by customers.
