Government to Launch 'Small Business Subscription Economy Support Project' Contest from the 13th of Next Month

[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Son Seonhee] The government will launch a public contest for the 'Subscription Economy Support Project' targeting small business owners starting from the 13th of next month. The project supports everything from entry into private online malls to sales and regular delivery, helping small business owners generate stable income through the subscription economy.
The Ministry of Economy and Finance announced on the 30th the 'September Korean New Deal Major Project Implementation Plan,' which includes this initiative. As part of the Digital New Deal, the Subscription Economy Support Project for small business owners will recruit about 200 small business owners from the 13th to the 24th of next month.
Additionally, through the 14th Information and Communication Strategy Committee, the government plans to announce the 'Cloud Computing Basic Plan' and 'Digital Twin Activation Strategy' on the 6th of next month. Furthermore, the 5th World Smart City Expo will be held at KINTEX in Ilsan, Goyang City, starting from the 8th.
In the Green New Deal sector, the government will promote the expansion of eco-friendly mobility infrastructure, including the establishment of a hydrogen charging station monitoring system and a pilot project contest for future car mega stations.
Projects to build energy self-sufficient infrastructure to convert existing industrial complexes into eco-friendly manufacturing spaces and support carbon-neutral facilities for high energy-consuming establishments will also commence.
