Damyang-gun Cultural Foundation Haedong Culture and Arts Village Hosts Third Planned Exhibition of the Year, 'Wrinkles of Memory'
Exhibition Operation from Next Month 4 to October 31
[Damyang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] The Damyang-gun Cultural Foundation Haedong Culture and Arts Village will present its third planned exhibition of 2021 starting from the 4th of next month.
According to the Damyang-gun Cultural Foundation Haedong Culture and Arts Village on the 30th, this exhibition held at the Area Gallery was planned to contemplate the ‘wrinkle’ that influences matter based on the ‘relationship’ of any subject and further determines form.
The theme of the exhibition, ‘wrinkle,’ is a line of inflection that separates or passes between matter and soul, facade and closed room, inside and outside, and is a potentiality that constantly differentiates itself.
Therefore, wrinkles themselves have an open meaning structure, allowing infinite intervention of imagination.
Artists Gam Minkyeong and Sim Eunseok, invited to this exhibition, create their own temples through contrasting approaches, that is, tracing ‘memory’ based on reality and unconsciousness, and realizing form.
This exhibition’s main works can also be viewed through the official YouTube channel of Haedong Culture and Arts Village, and on-site viewing will be limited to fewer than three people per exhibition hall according to COVID-19 quarantine guidelines, and will be operated under thorough quarantine management.
