Changwon City Signs Business Agreement to Train Healthcare Workforce
Changwon City signed a business agreement with Changwon Industry Promotion Agency and Masan University on the 26th at Masan University for the 'Changwon City Healthcare Research Support Project.'

With the ongoing aging population in Korea and to address medical disparities, the Changwon Industry Promotion Agency plans to nurture talent to lead the healthcare industry in Changwon by targeting unemployed individuals and prospective graduates in the local health and medical fields.
The Changwon City Healthcare Research Support Project is led by the 'Changwon City Base Clinical Research Support Center' at Masan University, which opened in May.
The plan is to produce a total of 90 specialized healthcare researchers in Changwon City: 50 in clinical trial research, 15 in physical therapy, and 25 in dementia-specialized occupational therapy, and support their employment.
This agreement ceremony was organized to establish a regional workforce development and community foundation through healthcare research support by the Changwon Industry Promotion Agency and the expert faculty of Masan University.
