Mad for Garlic Opens Daejeon Shinsegae Art & Science Branch
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Mad for Garlic announced on the 27th that it has opened its 42nd store, the Daejeon Shinsegae Art & Science branch, expanding its presence in the Chungcheong region.
The Daejeon Shinsegae Art & Science store is Mad for Garlic’s second location in Daejeon, officially opening on this day thanks to the popularity of its first Daejeon store, Dunsan branch. It aims to broadly target consumers in the Chungcheong area, including Daejeon and Sejong, as well as those in the Jeonbuk region such as Jeonju, Wanju, and Gunsan, all accessible within about an hour by car.
Mad for Garlic Daejeon Shinsegae Art & Science store features a modern and clean interior suited to the department store mall environment while preserving Mad for Garlic’s unique European sensibility. The interior, focused on brown-colored bricks, exudes a vintage atmosphere. Additionally, the store includes terrace tables to offer a relaxed dining experience in an open space. The exterior, reminiscent of a European outdoor caf?, provides a special ambiance that allows customers to enjoy Italian cuisine not only with their taste buds but also visually.
In particular, as a wine-specialized restaurant, wine cellars are placed throughout the store. The wine cellar is stocked with various ‘MAD WINE’ selections, carefully curated by Mad for Garlic from renowned European wineries in Italy, Spain, and other countries.
Mad for Garlic is running a customer discount promotion until the 10th of next month. Membership customers receive a 20% discount on all menu items ordered in-store during the event period. Membership is open to anyone through the Mad for Garlic app, and the discount benefit applies immediately upon registration.
