Emart Expands Sales Channels for 'Baeknyeon Gage Products' via SSG Live

[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] Emart announced on the 26th that, in collaboration with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Small Enterprise and Market Service, it will hold a 'Baeknyeon Gage Product Exhibition' through SSG.com's own live commerce platform 'SSG.LIVE' on the 30th.
Baeknyeon Gage (Century Store) is selected by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups by comprehensively considering small business owners with over 30 years of business experience, their management innovation will, product and service differentiation, and business sustainability. As part of the 'Caring Company' agreement signed with the Ministry in December 2020, Emart has reinterpreted representative products of small business owners selected as Baeknyeon Gage under the Peacock brand to expand their sales channels, releasing a total of eight products including 'Taegukdang Butter Cake,' 'Taejo Potato Soup,' and 'Jinmi Seasoned Chicken.'
Through this SSG.LIVE Baeknyeon Gage Product Exhibition, Emart plans to expand sales channels for small business products to live broadcasts by offering a 30% discount and an additional 5% coupon on Peacock Baeknyeon Gage products.
In addition to products developed by Emart, eight Baeknyeon Gage products from Fresh Easy, an HMR (Home Meal Replacement) specialized manufacturer, will also be showcased to broaden the scope of mutual growth. Products such as 'Jidonggwan Spicy Fried Shrimp' and 'Jangheung Hoegwan Nakgop Jeongol' will be offered with a 20% discount and an additional 5% coupon through the live broadcast.
Emart plans to continue its mutual growth activities through live broadcasts every two months by selecting themes such as small and medium enterprises, small business owners, and rural areas.
Also, the Small Enterprise and Market Service plans to provide distribution know-how to participants through the 'New Business Startup Academy,' which selects prospective entrepreneurs with high growth potential business ideas and supports them with theoretical education, store experience, and startup funds.
