KT IS Partners with Cuckoo for Special Rental Deals on Air Purifiers and Bidets
Strategic Collaboration in Customer Service and Product Sales

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] KT IS, which operates the KT customer center, has formed a strategic partnership with comprehensive health and home appliance company Cuckoo Electronics and Cuckoo Homesys to supply rental products and more at affordable prices.
KT IS announced on the 25th that it signed an agreement for customer service, product sales, and distribution cooperation with Cuckoo Electronics and Cuckoo Homesys on the 24th at the KT IS headquarters main conference room in Yeouido.
This agreement was promoted to create synergy based on KT IS's customer-first service capabilities and Cuckoo's high brand awareness and product competitiveness.
With this agreement, KT IS will be able to offer Cuckoo products at reasonable prices to KT customers through platform-based customer service and distribution channels. Various home appliances such as air purifiers, water purifiers, bidets, and pet dry rooms will be offered at one-time discounts and special rental sales through the 'KT Half-Price Choice' provided when subscribing to KT Internet and IPTV products.
Additionally, KT IS will apply its know-how from being ranked first for seven consecutive years in the Korea Standard Association's customer center quality evaluation (KS-CQI) to Cuckoo's customer service, transferring customer CS capabilities and aiming to improve quality.
Lee Seong-hwan, Executive Director of KT IS (Head of CS Business Division), said, "This is a meaningful moment as KT IS, which possesses top domestic customer service know-how and sales capabilities, begins a collaboration with Cuckoo, Korea's representative home appliance brand. We expect to generate various synergies based on the strengths of both companies in the future."
