Shinhan Financial Investment Announces Public Offering of Lizard Step-Down Type ELS
[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Shinhan Financial Investment announced on the 24th that it will offer the Lizard Step-Down ELS (Equity-Linked Securities) to the public until the 3rd of next month.
The "Public Offering ELS No. 21510" is based on EUROSTOXX50, S&P 500 (Standard & Poor's 500 Index), and HSCEI (Hang Seng China Enterprises Index) as underlying assets, and will be redeemed with a pre-tax annual return of 4.2% if certain conditions are met. It is a 3-year maturity principal non-guaranteed product, with early redemption opportunities every 6 months after issuance, and the subscription deadline is 1 PM on the 3rd of next month.
At each evaluation date every 6 months after issuance, if the closing prices of all underlying assets are at least 90% of the initial reference price (at 6 and 12 months), 85% (at 18 and 24 months), 80% (at 30 months), and 65% (at 36 months), redemption will occur. If none of the underlying assets' prices fall below 85% of the initial reference price for 12 months, a pre-tax return of 4.2% can be earned.
