[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] The Korea International Trade Association announced on the 24th that, in collaboration with the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, it will hold the '2021 University Student Trade Camp' in Seoul and Daejeon until the 26th.
The Trade Camp is a program started in 2009 to encourage university students' interest and participation in trade and to lay the foundation for nurturing trade professionals. The curriculum is designed to allow participants to directly practice the entire trade process rather than just theoretical approaches.
This year, 91 university students in Seoul and 33 in Daejeon are participating, practicing item selection and analysis, establishing overseas market entry strategies, finding buyers, and online marketing. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all practical sessions are conducted online.
