Jeju Fire Station to Inspect 'Flood and Water Rescue Equipment' by the 20th
[Jeju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Jeongpil] Jeju Fire Station (Chief Ko Jae-woo) announced on the 18th that it will inspect flood control and water rescue equipment in all departments by the 20th to prepare for flood and water damage.
This equipment inspection was conducted to prepare for flood and water damage following the recent second rainy season and continuous localized heavy rains. The inspection and operation training covered 81 flood control equipment units and 234 water rescue equipment units across all departments to prepare for flood-related firefighting activities.
Chief Ko Jae-woo stated, “We will proactively respond to localized heavy rains and the rainy season, doing our best to minimize casualties and property damage caused by flooding and water-related accidents.”
