BMW Korea "High-Performance Models, M135i xDrive and X2 M35i Released"
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] BMW Korea announced on the 18th that it will officially launch the high-performance compact hatchback model M135i xDrive, equipped with BMW M's powerful performance and various convenience features, and the high-performance compact SAC model X2 M35i in the domestic market.
The BMW M135i xDrive and X2 M35i are M Performance models in the compact segment that BMW Korea first introduced to the domestic market through the First Edition in July, and regular sales will begin this month.
The BMW M135i xDrive is a high-performance model of the 1 Series, BMW's representative compact class, and is an all-wheel-drive hatchback model boasting M's unique dynamic driving performance and space utilization.
The M135i xDrive is equipped with advanced technologies that maximize driving pleasure. The standard Actuator Wheel Slip Limitation device (ARB) quickly and agilely controls wheel slip in various driving environments to minimize understeer.
The front drive axle is equipped with an M Performance model-exclusive torque proportioning limited-slip differential, and compared to standard models, it features a differentiated M Sport suspension and M Sport steering system, enabling more precise and stable cornering.
The interior is equipped with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and control display exclusive to the M135i, BMW Live Cockpit Professional, and the BMW Connected Package Professional, which supports smartphone wireless charging, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto functions.
X2 M35i Exhibiting Eye-Catching Sporty Style and Agile Driving Performance
The BMW X2 M35i, launched together, is a high-performance model developed based on BMW M's racing know-how.
The X2 M35i features the M Performance model's unique Cerium Grey mesh kidney grille and air inlets on the front, along with bumpers finished in Dark Shadow color. The side sills and rear bumper are also finished in Dark Shadow color. Additionally, it is equipped with 20-inch M Double-Spoke 721 M wheels, adding a dynamic touch.
The interior includes aluminum hexagon anthracite interior trim, M anthracite headliner, M leather steering wheel with heating function and paddle shifters, Harman Kardon sound system, and wireless charging function.
Furthermore, it is equipped with active cruise control with Stop & Go function, Driving Assistant Plus, and ConnectedDrive services to support safe driving.
Both the M135i xDrive and X2 M35i are powered by an M TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder gasoline engine producing a maximum output of 306 horsepower and maximum torque of 45.9 kg·m, paired with an 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission.
In addition, BMW's intelligent all-wheel-drive system xDrive is applied, enabling the M135i xDrive to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds, and the X2 M35i in 4.9 seconds. M Sport brakes are standard to reliably control the outstanding power performance.

The prices are 58.3 million KRW for the M135i xDrive and 68.7 million KRW for the X2 M35i. (Including VAT, with a 3.5% individual consumption tax applied)
