Shinhan Financial Group Announces Recruitment for Startups to Join the 4th Batch of 'Shinhan Open Innovation'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] Shinhan Financial Group announced on the 17th that it is recruiting startups to participate in the 4th Shinhan Open Innovation program at the startup incubation platform 'Shinhan Square Bridge Seoul.'
Shinhan Open Innovation is a scale-up program that matches 'technology demand companies (large and medium-sized enterprises)' in need of innovative ideas and technologies with 'startups' seeking a foothold for business expansion, supporting business linkage and collaboration.
The application period is from today until the 6th of next month, and early-stage startups within 7 years of establishment with corporate business registration must submit a collaboration proposal that meets the requirements of the technology demand companies.
In this program, six companies including Nongshim, Genstarmate, Halla Holdings & Halla Co., Ltd., Hansol Education, Hyundai Construction Equipment, and LG Electronics are expected to participate as technology demand companies. Each company plans to select 5 startups, totaling 30 startups, to promote collaboration.

Selected startups will have opportunities for business expansion through collaboration with technology demand companies, and outstanding collaborative companies will be awarded a total prize of 120 million KRW (20 million KRW per company). In particular, Shinhan Financial Group companies will review the collaboration potential with the selected startups.
