[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] A man in his 40s who wielded a weapon at an acquaintance during an argument while drinking has been arrested by the police.
The Gwanak Police Station in Seoul announced on the 16th that they apprehended a man in his 40s, identified as Mr. A, on charges of attempted murder.
According to the police, Mr. A is accused of stabbing an acquaintance with a weapon following an argument while drinking together at a goshiwon in Bongcheon-dong, Gwanak-gu, around 5 a.m. on the 15th.
Police investigations revealed that Mr. A got into a dispute with the victim, Mr. B, while drinking, and after being assaulted by Mr. B, he wielded the weapon.
