[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Lotte Department Store announced on the 16th that it will open an online platform called 'Lotte Gallery Hall' on the 20th, where customers can directly purchase works by famous artists and enjoy various content.
The service allows customers to instantly purchase artworks they want to own even online. It will initially showcase 340 pieces including originals, editions, and drawings by over 100 renowned domestic and international artists such as Julian Opie and Elizabeth Peyton, with plans to increase the number of works for sale to over 1,000 in the future.
Other content includes 'Curator's Pick,' featuring works recommended by professional curators; 'Meet This Month's Art,' announcing news about trending artists and exhibitions; and 'Rising Artist,' introducing emerging artists.
