123 New COVID-19 Cases in Gyeongnam... Three-Digit Breakthrough Infections for Four Consecutive Days (Comprehensive)

By region, there are 50 cases in Changwon, 35 in Gimhae, 9 each in Tongyeong and Geoje, 3 each in Jinju, Miryang, Haman, and Sancheong, 2 in Changnyeong, and 1 each in Yangsan, Sacheon, Goseong, Namhae, Hadong, and Hamyang.
Except for 4 confirmed cases in Jinju, Miryang, Sancheong, and Changnyeong who are foreigners arriving from Pakistan, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Indonesia respectively, all cases are due to local transmission.
Among the total confirmed cases, 88 were infected through contact with existing confirmed cases within the province, including family, acquaintances, and coworkers. Of these, more than half, 45 cases, were infected through contact with family members.

Two confirmed cases in Gimhae are related to a nursing hospital where 'breakthrough infections' occurred; both are inpatients. They tested positive during diagnostic tests conducted every three days during quarantine. The cumulative number of confirmed cases related to the nursing hospital is 20.
One confirmed case in Gimhae and one in Haman had contact with confirmed cases from Gangwon and Jeonbuk respectively. The infection routes of the remaining 24 cases are under investigation.
