Hapcheon-gun to Provide Additional National Support Funds for Low-Income Households
Approximately 3,300 Recipients of Basic Livelihood Security and Legal Second-Lowest Income Brackets in the District
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam Province, will provide additional national support funds to alleviate the financial burden on low-income households whose livelihoods have become more difficult due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
This support fund is provided separately from the 5th disaster relief fund, which supports citizens with a median income of 88% or less. The recipients include about 3,300 people such as basic livelihood security recipients, legally designated near-poor classes, and single-parent families receiving child-rearing support, with 100,000 KRW per person paid to the household representative's account.
Households receiving cash benefits will receive the payment collectively on the 24th through their existing benefit accounts without a separate application. Other eligible recipients (medical, education, near-poor) can apply at their local eup/myeon office by the 19th, and after account verification, payments will be made on an ongoing basis until September 15.
