Through the adoption of the resolution, the association asserted, "Jeonbuk has sufficient potential to lead South Korea's hydrogen industry with the Saemangeum green hydrogen production cluster, Wanju's large-capacity hydrogen storage container industry, and the recent attraction of the Hydrogen Product Inspection Support Center in March."
Furthermore, the association stated, "The establishment of the Jeonbuk hydrogen specialized national industrial complex aligns with government policy directions such as the Green New Deal and will become a new growth engine not only for Jeonbuk but for South Korea as a whole." They urged the government and the National Assembly to actively support the creation of the Jeonbuk hydrogen industry ecosystem.
