Jeju Air to Operate 5 Themed Sightseeing Flights to 'Kota Kinabalu' in August
Prizes Including 5-Star Hotel and Resort Vouchers
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Je-hoon] Jeju Air announced on the 26th that it will operate five non-landing international sightseeing flights themed around travel to Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, in August.
According to Jeju Air, these sightseeing flights will all be operated with a Kota Kinabalu theme, supported by the Sabah Tourism Board of Malaysia. Various in-flight events will offer passengers two 2-night accommodation vouchers (including breakfast) for two people at 5-star hotels and resorts in Kota Kinabalu per flight, Sabah tourism souvenirs, and tickets to Icheon Termeden Pool & Spa.
The sightseeing flights will operate three flights from Incheon Airport on the 14th, 21st, and 28th of next month, and two flights from Gimhae Airport on the 21st and 28th of next month. Flights departing from Incheon leave Incheon Airport at 3:00 PM, fly over Tsushima Island, Japan, and arrive back at Incheon Airport around 5:00 PM. Flights departing from Gimhae leave Gimhae Airport at 1:30 PM, fly over Tsushima Island, Japan, and arrive back at Gimhae Airport at 2:30 PM.

Airfare starts from 84,800 KRW based on the total fare. The duty-free allowance per person for the international sightseeing flights is 600 USD, with a purchase limit of 5,000 USD. Purchases can be made at downtown duty-free shops, online duty-free shops, online in-flight duty-free shops, and duty-free shops in the departure areas of Incheon and Gimhae Airports.
