Mayor Kim Jongsik visited the Mokpo Indoor Gymnasium, where the 'Mokpo City COVID-19 Vaccination Center' was established, on the 22nd and 23rd to check the on-site situation.
He also checked the vaccination status of 3rd-year high school students at Mariahoe High School, Mokpo High School, and Yeongheung High School, who are preparing for the College Scholastic Ability Test.
In Mokpo, vaccinations for 3rd-year high school students started on the 19th and were completed on the 23rd.
Mayor Kim Jongsik stated, "We will do our best to ensure that vaccinations proceed smoothly despite the hot weather."
Meanwhile, as of 5 p.m. on the 22nd, among 90,325 vaccination candidates in Mokpo, 81,580 agreed to be vaccinated, resulting in a first-dose vaccination rate of 88.3% and a completed vaccination rate of 37.9%.
