Damyang-gun Launches On-site Testing for Foreign Workers to Prevent Spread of COVID-19 'Delta Variant'

On that day, the county's Investment Attraction Division and Health Center formed two inspection teams and completed testing for 253 workers (136 foreign, 117 domestic) at Eco Industrial Complex and three other locations.

A county official said, "To establish a thorough COVID-19 prevention network, cooperation from manufacturing company managers and workers in the area is necessary," adding, "Unless there are separate guidelines, we plan to visit workers every Wednesday for testing, so we ask for active cooperation."
