The signing ceremony held at the Gyeongnam FC Secretariat was attended by Ilhwa's Food Business Division Head Sanghoon Na, Auditor Hyungjoong Kwon, Gyeongnam FC CEO Jinkwan Park, and Manager Kihyun Seol.
Ilhwa, which signed the sponsorship contract to promote the revitalization of the domestic sports industry and the development of the K-League, will support Gyeongnam FC with its beverages and red ginseng products worth approximately 20 million KRW in the second half of this year. Gyeongnam FC plans to mutually cooperate by displaying Ilhwa advertisements on LED billboards and L-boards during home games.
Ilhwa, the first domestic producer and seller of barley carbonated drink Maekcol, Chojung sparkling water, Jinwells, and other food, beverages, ginseng, and pharmaceuticals, spares no effort in various sponsorships to foster and develop the domestic sports industry. Recently, it signed an agreement with the Korea Elementary School Badminton Federation to support promising players, and on the 2nd, successfully hosted the ‘Maekcol·Monapark Open with SBS Golf’.
Jinkwan Park, CEO of Gyeongnam FC, said, “The sponsorship agreement between Gyeongnam FC and Ilhwa will greatly help the operation of the FC club,” adding, “We will do our best in every way so that our club and Ilhwa can coexist and grow together.”
