According to Mokpo Maritime Police, at 8:31 a.m. on the 21st, a report was received that Mr. A (in his 60s) injured his waist on Gwanmaedo Island, Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do, and was unable to move due to severe pain.
The police dispatched a coastal rescue boat from the local police substation and began emergency transport at 9:12 a.m. that day, safely handing over the patient and guardian to the 119 ambulance team waiting at Seomang Port, Jindo-gun, at 9:41 a.m.
With the help of the maritime police, the emergency patient Mr. A was transferred to a large hospital in Mokpo and is currently receiving treatment.
