[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] The Ssangyong C&E labor union has agreed to delegate all authority regarding wage adjustments to the company again this year, following last year.
On the 20th, Ssangyong C&E signed the '2021 Wage Agreement' at its headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, with labor and management representatives including Labor Union Chairman Choi Dong-hwan and President Hong Sa-seung in attendance.
Choi Dong-hwan, Chairman of the Ssangyong C&E Labor Union, stated, "As the spread of COVID-19 has not subsided and the business environment remains difficult, we have entrusted wage negotiations to the company for the second consecutive year in order to wisely overcome the internal and external challenges we currently face. Moving forward, we will actively practice a beautiful partnership for mutual growth with the company so that we can all achieve our goal of becoming a top-tier sustainable development enterprise."
