Suseo Police Officer Confirmed COVID-19 Positive After First Vaccination Dose
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] The Suseo Police Station in Seoul announced on the 20th that Sergeant A from the Economic Team tested positive for COVID-19 after receiving the first dose of the vaccine.
Sergeant A experienced flu-like symptoms and underwent a COVID-19 test, which came back positive that morning. Nine employees working in the same office as Sergeant A were tested for COVID-19 and placed under self-quarantine.
Additionally, it was confirmed that one civilian who visited the Traffic Investigation Division at Suseo Police Station on the 13th also tested positive. The civilian had visited the police station for a consultation related to a traffic accident and reportedly stayed for about 9 minutes while wearing a mask.

Eight staff members from the Traffic Investigation Division who had consulted with the civilian were also tested for COVID-19. The Suseo Police Station stated that disinfection and sanitation were carried out in the offices and areas included in the confirmed patient's movement path.
