Naju-si Provides Free Support for 'Ansim Call Entry Management Service'

[Naju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Naju City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Kang In-gyu) announced on the 20th that it will provide the Safe Call entry management service free of charge to 2,034 designated facilities (9 types) to enhance the efficiency of COVID-19 prevention management.

'Safe Call' is an entry management system that allows visit records to be confirmed with a single phone call. When entering the establishment, visitors call the unique number provided, and their entry time and mobile phone number are transmitted to a separate computer server.

This system was introduced to prevent personal information leakage and misuse caused by manual logbooks and to alleviate the inconvenience for elderly people who have difficulty using QR codes.

In particular, it is very useful for epidemiological investigations as it enables quick and accurate identification of movement paths and contacts when a confirmed case occurs.

The Safe Call supported establishments include 9 types of designated facilities such as 5 types of entertainment venues (entertainment, danran, emotional pubs, clubs/night, hunting pocha), colatec, and coin karaoke practice rooms.

The collected information is used only for epidemiological investigations and transmission prevention to stop the spread of COVID-19 and is automatically deleted after 4 weeks.

The city plans to support the free Safe Call service until the COVID-19 situation ends.

Mayor Kang In-gyu said, "Through the Safe Call service, we expect improved convenience for visitors who previously had to wait in long lines to fill out manual logs or scan QR codes, as well as efficient quarantine management and epidemiological investigations for each establishment. We ask for the active interest and participation of the owners of designated facilities for the safety of all citizens."
