Jeonnam Education Policy Institute Holds the 16th Jeonnam Education Hope Forum
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] The Jeonnam Education Policy Research Institute announced on the 15th that it will hold the "16th Jeonnam Education Hope Forum" at 2 p.m. on the 16th in the large conference room on the 2nd floor of the Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education.
This forum will provide a platform to discuss the mental health crisis among youth under the theme "Connecting Moms and Moms during COVID-19: How to Support the Mental Health of Children and Adolescents?"
The number of attendees will be limited to 50 on-site participants to prevent COVID-19 infection, and the event will be broadcast live on "Jeollanam-do Education Research Information Center TV."
Professor Kim Hyun-soo of the Department of Psychiatry at Myongji Hospital will present under the theme "The Mental Report of Children We Missed." Following this, Professor Im Kyung-hee, currently serving as the director of the Counseling Center at Suncheon National University, will chair the session.
In the discussion, four panelists including student Kim Jin-joo from Yeosu Girls' High School and counseling teacher Kim Dae-woon will participate to discuss what the most important changes in daily life after COVID-19 are from their respective perspectives, and what and how support should be provided to overcome emotional crises.
