Naver Cloud Partners with Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development to Support Startup Growth
[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] Naver Cloud announced on the 14th that it will support startup growth in collaboration with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development.
Naver Cloud signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development to operate the 'Startup Leap Package - Large Corporation Collaboration Program.'
The Large Corporation Collaboration Program is a program where the government and domestic large corporations collaborate to support startups in their leap phase within 3 to 7 years of establishment. Naver Cloud, along with SK Innovation and CJ Group, will participate.
Each company provides support such as infrastructure, know-how, and investment linkage to help startups secure the momentum for growth.
The program consists of three sectors: eco-friendly (20 companies), digital (20 companies), and lifestyle (10 companies). A total of 50 startups can participate in one sector each.
Naver Cloud supports startup growth in the digital sector, including cloud and artificial intelligence (AI).
This includes credits worth up to 20 million KRW for using Naver Cloud Platform services, technical development consulting, networking support, and investment attraction. Additionally, selected startups will receive up to 300 million KRW in commercialization funds to enhance their technology and business models.
