Regarding former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol, he said, "He defied the harsh early days of the Park Geun-hye administration, was ousted and disciplined, and also challenged the Moon Jae-in administration. That is his history."
On the 13th, former Secretary General Yuin said on CBS Radio's 'Kim Hyun-jung's News Show,' "Our people have vividly witnessed that long-standing conflict, so there is a recognition that 'It is somewhat understandable why that person acts that way when he comes out,'" he stated.
However, he pointed out, "He delayed joining the People Power Party and talked as if he would move toward the center, including progressives and post-progressives, but after his political declaration, he seems to have given up on the center. That is disappointing," adding, "There was no talk of unity in the political declaration, only an expression of anger."
Regarding former Board of Audit and Inspection Chairman Choi Jae-hyung, he said, "It's not just that his recognition is low, but I question whether he was persecuted so much by the Moon Jae-in administration that he quit the Board of Audit and Inspection midway."
He continued, "He is quite a model student at the starting line but has a weak justification. However, since he has declared his candidacy, his appointments have been well done," praising, "His first appointment was Representative Kim Young-woo, who is a very rational conservative. That was really well done."
Regarding the Democratic Party primary process, he analyzed, "Candidate Lee Jae-myung, who is leading, has somewhat lost ground, while candidate Lee Nak-yeon has relatively risen."
He added, "If Gyeonggi Province Governor Lee Jae-myung's public support rate remains steady, I think he will win in the runoff, but recently it has declined a bit," and said, "If it continues, there could be some changes. Since the competitiveness in the general election will be the criterion for the national electorate's judgment, we need to watch the trend for a while."
Regarding candidate Lee Nak-yeon, he praised, "He speaks as if he is a magician with words, constructing sentences as he talks," and added, "At the same time, he is quite restrained. He showed that in this debate as well. The more he holds such events with the microphone, the more he seems to rise."
