Fell to Death Again... Outsourced Worker Falls While Replacing Roof at Ulsan Hyundai Heavy Industries

According to a Hyundai Heavy Industries official on the 13th, around 5:30 a.m. that day, a worker in his 40s from a company contracted for a short-term external process at the Painting Plant 1 of Hyundai Heavy Industries Ulsan Shipyard fell and was transported to the hospital but died.
While working on replacing the roof of Painting Plant 1 that day, Mr. Jeong fell from a height of 13 to 15 meters.
Mr. Jeong was immediately taken to the hospital and received cardiopulmonary resuscitation but ultimately passed away.
The police are investigating the circumstances of the accident by interviewing witnesses at the scene.
Hyundai Heavy Industries experienced a series of serious accidents, including a natural gas (LNG) ship pipeline worker who suffocated and died in May last year, and a worker who collided with a steel plate in the assembly plant and died in February this year.
