POSCO Cheongam Foundation Selects 250 Scholarship Students from Pohang and Gwangyang High Schools
POSCO Cheongam Foundation announced on the 11th that it has selected 250 Lighthouse Scholars from high school students in the Pohang and Gwangyang areas. This scholarship program was established to illuminate and encourage exemplary third-year high school students like a lighthouse. The selection was made through recommendations from each school principal and foundation screening starting in June. Following the emergency living scholarships for university students from Pohang and Gwangyang affected by COVID-19, POSCO has temporarily established this second scholarship program. The 250 scholars selected from 36 schools received a scholarship certificate and a scholarship grant of 500,000 KRW.
