"Continuing the Euro 2020 Excitement" TVING Confirms Broadcast of German Bundesliga
Exclusive Tving Broadcast for 65 out of 150 Games
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Online video service (OTT) TVING has confirmed exclusive OTT broadcasting rights for the German Bundesliga, continuing the excitement of Euro 2020.
TVING has secured exclusive domestic broadcasting rights for the 2021-22 German Bundesliga season and will provide live coverage starting in August through TVING, and channels tvN and XtvN. A total of 150 matches will be broadcast live, with 65 of those matches exclusively on TVING.
Having gained much love from football fans by providing exclusive coverage of Euro 2020 since the 12th of last month, TVING plans to strengthen its service diversity and content library competitiveness through this exclusive Bundesliga coverage.
The performance of Korean players is also a key point to watch. In the 2020-21 Bundesliga season, a total of nine Korean players participated. Currently active Korean players in the Bundesliga include Hwang Hee-chan (RB Leipzig), Jung Woo-young (SC Freiburg), and Lee Jae-sung (Mainz).
Hwang Hye-jung, Director of TVING Content Business Division, stated, "To repay the passionate enthusiasm shown during Euro 2020, we have confirmed live broadcasting of the Bundesliga, one of Europe's big leagues. We plan to continue expanding exclusive acquisition libraries in various genres, such as live sports broadcasts, to strengthen TVING's content competitiveness."

The Bundesliga will begin broadcasting on the 14th of next month (Korean time) with the match between Bayern Munich and Borussia M?nchengladbach, which will be covered on TVING and CJ ENM channels.
