Korea IBM Appoints Won Seong-sik as New CEO
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] IBM Korea announced on the 8th that it has appointed Won Seong-sik as the new CEO.
CEO Won joined IBM Korea in 1991 and gained experience in hardware, marketing, global technology services, and sales in the financial industry. From 2011 to 2015, he successfully led the enterprise solutions business while working at SK Telecom. Since then, he has been overseeing IBM Korea's Technology Group.
CEO Won stated, "Through IBM's differentiated strategy centered on hybrid cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions, we will establish ourselves as a business partner that plays a pivotal role in our customers' growth," adding, "Together with all IBM Korea employees, we will continuously contribute to the growth and development of domestic companies."
