Incheon Public Parking Lots Enable Non-Stop Exit Like Hi-Pass... 'Smart Parking' to Be Established by 2023
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Incheon City announced on the 6th that it will promote the establishment of a 'Smart Parking System' to enhance the convenience of using public parking lots and improve parking accessibility within the region.
This system allows users to search for public parking lots, make payments, and check status information through the smartphone app (T-map Parking), and it can operate unmanned.
In particular, when a user's vehicle enters the parking lot, the parking control equipment recognizes the license plate, and the parking fee is automatically paid with a pre-registered credit card, enabling non-stop exit like Hi-Pass without a separate settlement process.
The city will actively promote the project based on the business agreement signed with T-map Mobility in November last year to establish the smart parking system and the Incheon City Comprehensive Parking Plan in March.
