View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, has entered self-quarantine after coming into contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case.
On the 5th (local time), a spokesperson for the British royal family announced that a person Middleton had contact with last week later tested positive for COVID-19.
The royal spokesperson explained that Middleton has shown no symptoms of COVID-19 but is self-quarantining in accordance with government guidelines.
Originally, Middleton was scheduled to attend the 73rd anniversary celebration of the National Health Service (NHS) at St. Paul's Cathedral on the 5th and host a tea party at Buckingham Palace, but all events were canceled.
