KT Signs Business Agreement with Gyeonggi Province and Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education to Promote Free Semester System
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] On the 5th, KT announced that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the Gyeonggi Provincial Government Office with Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education to promote the 'Gyeonggi Province Career Experience Connecting Students and Companies.'
Through this MOU, KT will support diverse and specialized career exploration activities for students participating in the Free Semester System and cooperate to expand experiential opportunities for students in rural areas lacking career experience facilities. To this end, as a digital platform company, KT plans to provide future experience education opportunities such as visits to its Artificial Intelligence (AI) Research Center, AI Hotel tours, and AI robots based on its future technology capabilities.
In particular, this year, KT will support small group tours via online live participation and AI coding education that makes it easy to understand the principles of artificial intelligence. Next year, KT plans to operate a program where participants can experience big data technologies combined with AI through a tour of KT's largest domestic Internet Data Center (IDC).
