Gyeonggi-do to Reorganize 533,000 Non-compliant Land Parcels
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province will invest 109.7 billion KRW by 2030 to organize 533,000 land parcels where the actual land conditions do not match the cadastral records.
Gyeonggi Province announced on the 1st that it revised the "Gyeonggi Province 3rd Cadastral Resurvey Comprehensive Plan (2021-2030)" after deliberation by the Cadastral Resurvey Committee on the 30th of last month.
The cadastral resurvey project is a national initiative carried out from 2012 to 2030 to resurvey lands (mismatched lands) where the actual land conditions and cadastral records (such as land registers and other land information documents) do not coincide, using the latest technologies like drones, and to digitize the cadastral records.
According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's "Basic Plan for Cadastral Resurvey," local governments review the appropriateness of the comprehensive cadastral resurvey plan every five years and revise it if necessary.
This third comprehensive plan, following those in 2012 and 2016, was established as a basis for the cadastral resurvey implementation plans promoted by cities and counties, focusing on feasible plans tailored to regional circumstances, including annual promotion plans and key tasks.
The 3rd comprehensive plan aims to "accelerate the correct land project through empathy and cooperation," selecting three main strategies: ▲ acceleration of digital cadastral construction ▲ proactive response to future changes ▲ establishment of a project foundation that resonates with residents, along with four detailed tasks for each strategy.
The province will invest 109.7 billion KRW to organize 533,000 remaining land parcels by 2030, including 24,000 parcels this year.
Specifically, the province first selects districts with severe mismatches or high project effectiveness as priority project areas.
Based on necessity, cities and counties assign grades from 1 to 4, and parcels with low immediate project urgency are managed as 5th priority outside the project scope to systematically promote the project.
Additionally, the province included in this comprehensive plan the release of precise unmanned aerial images that allow intuitive and comprehensive judgment to enhance residents' understanding of the project.
