[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Hapcheon County, Gyeongnam Province, is conducting foot-and-mouth disease vaccinations for calves raised within the county from the 28th of last month to July 5th.
The county has selected approximately 3,000 calves for this vaccination campaign and plans to proceed with the inoculations.
This special vaccination will be administered directly by the county's veterinary officers to all cattle farms, regardless of whether they are full-time or small-scale farmers.
Additionally, quarantine inspections will be conducted to prevent livestock infectious diseases, including bovine tuberculosis, among cattle farms.
Furthermore, the progress of tethering facility projects and disinfection facility support projects will be checked to ensure no gaps occur in livestock quarantine measures.
