The 'Visiting Resident Safety Classroom' is a life safety education program targeting vulnerable groups to disasters and safety accidents.
This year, in addition to elderly leisure facilities and vocational rehabilitation facilities for the disabled, workers at children's facilities are also included as education targets.
Safety education will be conducted in a customized manner considering the characteristics of each facility.
Residential facilities such as social welfare facilities and facilities for the disabled will have facility managers and guardians participate, focusing on practical training such as how to respond in case of fire or earthquake.
Elderly leisure facilities and senior citizen centers will focus on dementia prevention, home safety accident prevention, and suicide prevention education.
Workers at children's facilities will be trained in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first aid.
