Police Detain 20s Businessman for Drunk Driving in the Middle of the Night
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] A man in his 20s was booked by the police for driving under the influence late at night.
According to the police on the 30th, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul is investigating Mr. A on charges of drunk driving and failure to take action after an accident under the Road Traffic Act.
Mr. A is accused of driving a car while intoxicated around 11:20 p.m. on the 22nd in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu. It is also reported that he collided with another parked car.
Mr. A, known as a businessman in the art field, was found to be in a state of intoxication severe enough to warrant license cancellation at the time of the incident.
