Selection of 329 People for 3 Projects... Work from July 1 to November 30 for 5 Months... Integrity Happy Call Phone Monitoring, Building Temperature Checks, Resource Recycling Projects, and More
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor You Deok-yeol) announced that it will start the second half of 2021 public job projects from July 1.
After the application deadline and screening, the district selected a total of 329 people out of 743 applicants: 158 for the Safe Job Project, 153 for the Hope Work Support Project, and 18 for the Community Job Project, and announced the selected candidates on the 25th.
The selected personnel will work from July 1 to November 30 in 49 Safe Job Projects such as Integrity Happy Call telephone monitoring, 26 Hope Work Support Projects such as building fever checks, and 7 Community Job Projects such as resource recycling projects.
The Community Job Project is a 4-month project running until October 31.
Working hours are limited to 6 hours per day and 5 days per week as a principle, and wages are applied according to the 2021 minimum wage (hourly wage of 8,720 won). However, participants aged 65 or older can work only 3 or 4 hours per day for safety.
